2. Engagement Agreement

When engaging our consulting services, you will receive an Engagement Letter that outlines the terms and objectives of our engagement. This document, along with our Standard Business Terms, constitutes a legally binding contract between Expansive EDGE and the client.

3. Services Provided

Expansive EDGE offers professional consulting services to enhance your business operations. Our services include:

  • Streamlining and digitizing business processes
  • Collaborating with your team to extract vital company information
  • Optimizing workflows and developing a centralized digital knowledge hub

4. Limitation of Scope

Our services are limited to the specified scope outlined in the Engagement Letter. We are not responsible for identifying all potential issues or opportunities within your business processes. Any additional work beyond the initial scope will be quoted separately and agreed upon through an updated Engagement Letter.

5. Unanticipated Services

Additional work outside the agreed scope will be performed only after a mutually agreed-upon price and acceptance of a Change of Service Request with a digital signature.

6. Period of Engagement

The engagement starts on the date specified in the proposal and is valid until mutually terminated or superseded by a new engagement. A one-month notice period is required for any variations or termination of the agreement.

7. Service and Price Guarantee

Expansive EDGE stands behind the quality of our services. If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us immediately to address your concerns. We will work towards a mutual agreement regarding the payment for services completed.

8. Ownership of Documents

All original documents provided by the client remain the client's property. Expansive EDGE reserves the right to make copies for our records. The electronic documents, working papers, and other materials created during the engagement are the property of Expansive EDGE.

9. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data and information provided. The client must ensure reasonable access to relevant individuals and documents for Expansive EDGE to perform the agreed services.

10. Confidentiality

Expansive EDGE treats all information acquired during the engagement with strict confidentiality. Information will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or with the client's express written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the federal and provincial courts located in Alberta.

12. Limitation of Liability

Expansive EDGE's liability for any claim related to professional services is limited to the amount of any professional liability insurance available at the time of the claim. No claim shall be brought more than one year after the services were completed or terminated.

13. Indemnification

Expansive EDGE agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the client from any losses, costs, damages, or liabilities arising from the engagement, except where caused by the client's breach of covenants or the firm's negligence.

14. Changes to These Terms

Expansive EDGE reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
