We started Expansive EDGE because we kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant founders trapped inside their own businesses. Phenomenal at the work, drowning in the operations. Knowledge locked in heads instead of systems. Teams reinventing the wheel every Monday.
The honest assessment: consulting wasn't the answer. Consulting leaves when the consultant leaves. We needed to build something that stays. So we did. We named what we deliver, Codified Operational Intelligence™, and we built the methodology, the tooling, and the AI infrastructure to produce it repeatably.

The engineering discipline isn't from AI. It came first, refined across 20 years of practice in construction, mechanical, cleaning, and service businesses. AI added the speed.
The methodology was refined through real engagements with real stakes. It produced measurable operational and revenue lift before Expansive EDGE existed as a company.

By 2035, ControlShift™ will be the standard methodology for codifying the operational intelligence of 1,000+ service businesses across North America, collectively employing more than 25,000 people working inside systems built to last.
That number isn't arbitrary. It's the size of impact we believe we can have if we stay disciplined, scale the team intentionally, and never compromise on the methodology.
It's also the number that keeps us honest about every short-term decision: does this engagement, this hire, this product call get us closer to a thousand businesses systematised, or further from it?
